Vicki H. Evans is a veteran educator, bilingual specialist, nonprofit founder, technology-minded program leader, and longtime community servant whose professional life has been devoted to strengthening children, families, educators, seniors, and communities.

Her career reflects decades of service across public education, nonprofit leadership, community development, bilingual instruction, technology integration, program administration, family engagement, and civic outreach. Throughout her professional journey, she has consistently combined education with service, believing that learning becomes most powerful when it improves lives and strengthens communities.

Ms. Evans' educational career includes service with Los Angeles Unified School District, Santa Ana Unified School District, and Caddo Parish Public Schools. Her experience spans early childhood, elementary education, bilingual education, instructional leadership, mentoring, assessment, differentiated instruction, curriculum implementation, technology integration, data-informed decision-making, family engagement, and program coordination.

She has served as a Senior Educator and Program Mentor with Los Angeles Unified School District, a Bilingual Program Specialist with Santa Ana Unified School District, and a Program Implementation Lead with Caddo Parish Public Schools. Across these roles, she has worked closely with students, teachers, families, administrators, specialists, and community partners while supporting academic achievement, language development, classroom success, professional growth, and organizational improvement.

Her professional preparation includes a Master of Science degree from Pepperdine University, undergraduate study at California State University, Dominguez Hills, and teacher preparation through the University of Southern California Accelerated Teacher Training Program.

Leadership Beyond the Classroom

Ms. Evans' commitment to leadership and public service extends well beyond the traditional classroom.

For 16 years, she served Los Angeles Music Week, beginning as an Administrative Assistant and later being promoted to President.

In that leadership role, she helped support organizational administration, event coordination, communications, community outreach, music education, youth performance opportunities, cultural programming, and civic engagement serving the City of Los Angeles and communities across 15 California counties.

Her work with Los Angeles Music Week contributed to initiatives recognized by the City of Los Angeles, including an official proclamation recognizing Music Week in the City of Los Angeles.

That chapter of her career strengthened her experience in nonprofit administration, event planning, sponsorship development, communications, community partnerships, youth programming, public relations, leadership development, and organizational service.

Strong communities are created when education, culture, service, leadership, and opportunity come together.

Ms. Evans has participated in numerous educational, charitable, faith-based, family, senior, youth, and neighborhood initiatives throughout her career.

Her community involvement has included literacy programs, music education, youth development, family engagement, mentoring, senior support, food assistance, educational enrichment, intergenerational programming, volunteer coordination, and community outreach.

Her service philosophy emphasizes dignity, compassion, practical assistance, education, and meaningful relationships.

One example of this commitment was Aeigram Industries Foundation's outreach honoring Foster Grandparents, including the donation of a turkey and all the entrees needed for a complete Thanksgiving meal.

Ms. Evans is standing with Principal Lisa Mason-Hollins and Assistant Principal Meja Hunt beside the Foster Grandparents who diligently served our preschoolers at the legendary Eighty First Early Childhood Center in Caddo Parish, Louisiana.

Ms. Evans believes that seniors bring wisdom, history, encouragement, and experience that should remain actively connected to younger generations. That belief continues to influence Aeigram Industries Foundation's intergenerational programming.
