A deeply committed educator and community servant, Vicki Evans has dedicated her life to empowering underserved populations. With a distinguished 43 year career spanning Los Angeles and Santa Ana Unified School Districts, as well as a significant tenure in Caddo Parish, Ms. Evans has honed her expertise in early childhood education, specializing in the unique needs of developmentally challenged students. For over forty years, she has educated thousands of children and mentored numerous new teachers. Her passion for fostering holistic growth and innovative development in young minds is evident in her unwavering dedication to her students.
Ms. Evans' community service complements her extensive classroom experience. Holding a Master’s Degree in Educational Computing from Pepperdine University, teacher credential training from USC, a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from California State University Dominguez Hills, as well as Early Childhood Certification from both Louisiana State University and Northwestern University, she brings a robust theoretical foundation to her pedagogical approach. This combination of academic rigor and practical experience equips her with the knowledge and skills necessary to create innovative and effective educational programs. She has also served 12 years as a Bilingual Mentor Educator in both Los Angeles and Santa Ana Unified School Districts.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Evans has a proven track record of community leadership. Her 20-year tenure as President of Los Angeles Music Week Inc. and 3-year role as Vice President of the 5-4 Optimist Club, alongside her parents, cultivated a deep-rooted commitment to social responsibility and collaboration in volunteerism, church-based mission activities and HOA initiatives to improve community safety and engagement. These experiences have instilled in her a strong belief in the power of partnerships to drive positive change.
Ms. Evans' vision for Aeigram Industries Foundation, aka AIF, is rooted in her profound understanding of the interconnected challenges faced by at-risk seniors and developmentally challenged preschoolers. By creating opportunities for intergenerational engagement and providing comprehensive early childhood education, she aims to build a stronger, more resilient community. Her leadership, coupled with her extensive experience and unwavering dedication, positions AIF to make a lasting impact on the lives of those it serves.
